Todd Laffoon, a native of Norman, OK moved to Wichita in 1997 to expand Metro Cellular, the wireless phone business he started with his brother in 1987.  The company had five stores in Norman and the Oklahoma City metro area at the time and was looking for an expansion plan when Southwestern Bell Mobile Systems (now Cingular) began recruiting for the Wichita Market.

He opened two more stores in Wichita and one in Hutchinson and later sold his business after holding the number one Kansas authorized agent ranking for both Southwestern Bell Wireless and Alltel Wireless.

Todd then entered the corporate world, spending 4 years as Director of Sales and Marketing for two local firms.  In 2004, he decided to take his combined experience in customer service, sales, marketing and advertising to the real estate market.

Todd and his wife Jill (also a licensed agent at Plaza) are proud parents to 19 and 16 year old daughters and a 1 year old son.
